Day 6 ~ SNOW DAY

The Stafford Challenge ~ Day 6


SNOW DAY

Raging snowflakes 

clump down beneath a rumpled sky.

She peers out her window,

nose pressed against cold glass,

breath spreading in a foggy cloud.

Intricate ice ferns form

where her breath freezes,

unique as snowflakes.

She hears the sound of whistles,

feels anger and a heavy sense of dread.
