HER HEART IS HEAVY

How do we find our way out of this mess?
She cries for her country,
wonders what she can do,
feels helpless.
People are out of work,
they’re hungry, sick.
It will get better because it has to.
But things won’t change unless we do.
She tried. She tried. She tried.
She tried. She tried.
She's tired.
And sad.
