HELIOS

Helios, driver of the golden chariot
flames across the early morning sky;
personification of the sun,
ruler of day and night.
Without Helios, day could not begin;
if he chooses to stay, there would
be no night, no rest, no renewal.
Privy to this golden miracle,
they celebrate the sun's early arrival,
accept his evening departure,
the magical circle of life.
